Costumes

I had so much fun getting dressed up this year!
Thanks to my wonderful hubby (who gave me the idea) we dressed up as
Jack and Jill and a pail of water.

The entire costume cost me $2!
A price that made the entire night so much more fun.

We had dinner in a pumpkin with family then went to a Halloween block party with more family.
I am so sad to think of moving away from all my family.
They make life so much for full and rich.

side note: I have the greatest husband ever!
I mean look at that sweet guy.
Willing to get dressed up and walk around with me.
I owe him big time.

What were you for Halloween?
and
Which is better - eating all your candy in one night?
or
eating one candy a day until you run out?

Halloween Wreath

Halloween is just around the corner.
Are you getting excited?!
I am not a huge fan of Halloween, although I do enjoy the costumes and candy.
Just not a fan of the darkness or gore.

When I was little I would hide on my roof with my brothers and spook parents using sticks,
or hide in the car and pop out in the window with a mask.
The parents would get so freaked,
they never suspect leaning against the car waiting for their kids.

Well this year I decided to finally make a Halloween wreath and absolutely love it!

Made from cupcake liners and contact paper.
I used a hot glue gun for the cupcake liners and let the glue pull after each one to make it look like cobwebs.
then I cut out bats, glued them onto skewers, and stuck them into the wreath.
(This way I can reuse the white for other holidays.)

What are you going to be for Halloween this year?
My costume to come. Stay tuned.
