Chunky Pesto

As promised here is my pesto recipe.

Ingredients:
1 c. Basil Leaves
1/2 c. Raw organic almonds
1/3 c. Extra virgin olive oil
1 Large garlic clove, roughly chopped
1/2 t. Celtic sea salt (or Real Salt)

Combine in a food processor or blender and mix until desired consistency is reached.
Enjoy on bread, rice, or with some pasta.


I had mine on bread with tomatoes so I made it a tad on the chunky side. For a smoother consistency continue blending.

  1. That looks delicious, wish I had some right now! Happy Birthday amazing girl. Glad it was a good one for you. My favorite pesto dish is salmon sandwiches and I also love it on any fish dish or just plain on bread or with any pasta dish.

  2. That looks amazing! Funny we just had pesto gnocchi last night! And leftovers at work today for lunch :) So good! I want mine own basil plant!
