Where to start? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
"Lets start at the very beginning..."<span style="font-size: x-small;"> (name that movie!) </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My family and I have relocated from Utah all the way to.......</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
wait for it....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Arizona!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not too big of a leap from Utah, I know. But we are just grateful to have a good job right out of college.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We got her in January, and moved into our house in February. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I LOVE OUR HOUSE!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We live on such a fun street. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We have such fun neighbors.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We love our ward.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We have a POOL!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A park in walking distant<span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"> (if we are ever outside, Kalei will lead the way)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We are one mile from shopping, food, a movie theater, the freeway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Everything.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love our house!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Did I mention that I love our house?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I feel so blessed and excited about life.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Dane is working in finance and loving it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Kalei is becoming a little person with such a warm personality.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And I am finally feeling settled enough to start on some projects!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't wait to share them with you!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also have some exciting news...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got a job as a food designer and photographer. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am not sure what my official job title is but I can't wait to dive in. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I get to make yummy recipes and take pictures of them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am a little nervous, but mostly excited.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You will have to come by and visit me at phabulife.com!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will probably be a little busy in the next week, I need to hurry and get some meals made and pictures taken but I am working on a dress I am super excited about and can't wait to share with you!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
See you around. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

A new love really.<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I used to hate getting flowers.<br />They just die and then I feel bad throwing them away because someone spent money on them and so I keep the dead flowers in the vase with the yuck water until all the peddles have fallen off.<br />But now that I have a rose garden outside my kitchen window I have found a new love.<br /><br />It is even better when your husband cuts them fresh from the garden and puts them in a super cute vase on your night stand for you to wake up to.<br /><br />Has that ever happened to you?<br />Me neither.<br />A girl can dream right?<br /><br />So. After waking up to a very empty night stand I decided to step in for my hubby.<br />I know he was thinking about doing it. Slightly dampen your hair. It may take you a couple of tries to find the right dampness. My second try was way too wet and didn't dry by the morning.<br />2. Divide your hair into 3 sections. top, right, left.<br />3. Starting with the top, roll the end of your hair around the sock and continue the roll until you reach your head, this should be a similar roll to one used with hot rollers. Once you reach your head simply tie your sock.<br />4. Do the same with your other two sections and go to sleep.<br />5. I tried putting it on a pinning it where I wanted to take it in but then the waist was too big. I found the easiest way for me was to lay it out with one of my other pencil skirts and pinning it to match. I used a regular zipper on the side, instead of an invisible <span style="font-size:85%;">(I am a little intimidated by the invisible zipper, but am going to attempt it this week. She hasn't quite gotten the hang of posing yet...and I am okay with that.<br />The tricky part for her dress were the sleeves. I had to take them out twice to size up. I didn't have a pattern so I just experimented until it worked. I may suggest using a pattern for the sleeves if you haven't done one before like me. It could save you a lot of time un-stitching.<br /></div>Taylor @ Drinking From Jarshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07535667677430184647noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504507416461045245.post-31483046994930847772011-09-22T19:55:00.000-07:002011-10-28T21:51:56.760-07:00Carrot Cake Bread & Muffins<div style="text-align: center;">This carrot cake bread is delicious.<br />I made it for my daughters first birthday.<br />It is super healthy and made with all natural ingredients.<br />I have realized since first making it that I prefer it as bread or muffins instead.<br />I will however, include the icing recipe for those who prefer it as a cake or cupcake.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2VhHQu1KgFlxL5NUo7w8POhZ9MwOv_Hmd3V-2laszBBedfBrB87XQOtsM7S9xoin6j7PqtRNrxgmpklQHeNKDx0jdH_gKgJr9edoU-1sjBkAy390w0cn2-Bmf7tMUJle8pbQhyphenhyphenk2tb8Xv/s1600/IMG_5240.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2VhHQu1KgFlxL5NUo7w8POhZ9MwOv_Hmd3V-2laszBBedfBrB87XQOtsM7S9xoin6j7PqtRNrxgmpklQHeNKDx0jdH_gKgJr9edoU-1sjBkAy390w0cn2-Bmf7tMUJle8pbQhyphenhyphenk2tb8Xv/s400/IMG_5240.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655385710737092018" border="0" /></a><br />Ingredients & how to:<br />2 c. shredded carrots<br />1 1/2 c. raisins<br />2 c. water<br />1 1/2 t. cinnamon<br />1 1/2 t. allspice<br />1/2 t. cloves<br />1/4-1/2 c. agave<br />1/2 t. salt<br />3 c. spelt flour<br />1 1/2 t. baking soda<br />1 c. soy milk (or almond)<br /><br />Saute carrots and raisins in the water for 8-10 minutes.<br />Add cinnamon, allspice, cloves, agave, and salt to the pan.<br />mix dry ingredients (flour & baking soda) then combine with carrot mixture.<br />Lastly add soy milk and mix well.<br />Grease pan before pouring.<br /><br />Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.<br />Depending on your pan size adjust cooking time.<br />(large bread pan (45min), four small bread pan (30min), cupcake tin(30min))<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii0SNERKaXPE1PvBLLGSC_z_CxIinby67esAN7mL7wd3b3mT92MMVkIHTW5mPlR1Q0SZMab5L48O1y6ouKueMusubs6NjhSRKuxHQVDO3gSx22KROtkKsUwSt8-5RHoxG9cfCOdkuYJSTe/s1600/IMG_5235.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii0SNERKaXPE1PvBLLGSC_z_CxIinby67esAN7mL7wd3b3mT92MMVkIHTW5mPlR1Q0SZMab5L48O1y6ouKueMusubs6NjhSRKuxHQVDO3gSx22KROtkKsUwSt8-5RHoxG9cfCOdkuYJSTe/s400/IMG_5235.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655385714738950674" border="0" /></a><br />warning - the icing has sugar, but is amazing!<br />ingredients:<br />1 container of To Futti better then cream cheese (or cream cheese)<br />1/2 c. soy margarine (or butter)<br />2 c. powdered sugar<br />1 t. vanilla extract<br />1 1/2 t. lemon juice<br />mix together and spread on cake, and or cupcake.<br /><br />Let me know how it works out!<br />Hope to see you around.<br /><br /></div>Taylor @ Drinking From Jarshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07535667677430184647noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504507416461045245.post-33717911009964043752011-09-20T21:16:00.000-07:002011-10-28T21:52:06.585-07:00Enchiladas<div style="text-align: center;">I <span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">love</span></span> food.<br />Have you noticed?<br />This recipes is my own creation.<br />No meat, no dairy, no sugar. I think it is supposed to be the end of a sectional.<br />The older couple we bought it from only had it for 2 months and were the sweetest people. As we were taking the couch out to the truck she noticed a few marks on the back and gave us the large cushion behind it (still in it's wrapping) for free, which she bought for more then 50.00!<br />What a steal!<br /><br />So my plan is to somehow make an ottoman out of the large cushion and sit it next to the couch where the sectional would attach. I am so excited! Now all I need is an unfurnished apartment so I can use it!<br />For now it is being stored.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGRAnXK-Th6uMZxowXrMC775eRXjaHK1JV2EU0P7XSCox-GJ4goGjdLgSTjnphIqScuBDcZNHn0DK2Trk5vZYtyYItRfBRdZVXIbLes_brt00ixeL1dlE_ah6eJ9MApxyUnGghdP6aENVw/s1600/IMG_5218.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGRAnXK-Th6uMZxowXrMC775eRXjaHK1JV2EU0P7XSCox-GJ4goGjdLgSTjnphIqScuBDcZNHn0DK2Trk5vZYtyYItRfBRdZVXIbLes_brt00ixeL1dlE_ah6eJ9MApxyUnGghdP6aENVw/s400/IMG_5218.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654190944951986882" border="0" /></a><br />Here I am enjoying my beautiful couch!<br />Can't wait to use it and see how it goes with the rest of the furniture I have been collecting.<br /></div>Taylor @ Drinking From Jarshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07535667677430184647noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504507416461045245.post-22425402901430032002011-09-17T22:38:00.000-07:002011-10-28T22:21:09.663-07:00Laundry Bag Dress<div style="text-align: center;">This dress is made out of a laundry bag.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I fell in love with the stripes and had to find a way to turn it into a dress.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3fCNGgeYjqMbNQ-nhgWwUeUxI_eYOOM7RsLKEDvDqblCVNNDJJWyViVuRdq7ILzoS6mvfknNLcPbmWwfulUFSf0yaYbNyG-LLr2g6js0HAp4RElJwHFd5mHlgA977NfVPAH1qrQPV-p-t/s400/IMG_5231.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5653571466933284658" /></div><div style="text-align: center;">2.00 for the laundry bag (thrift store).</div><div style="text-align: center;">I added a ruffle from some scrap fabric and a zipper down the back. </div><div style="text-align: center;">My first zipper and it is not very good but it will work for now.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Maybe I should be pocahontas for halloween?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">(I have pictures of my process if anyone is interested in a tutorial. let me know.)</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>Taylor @ Drinking From Jarshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07535667677430184647noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504507416461045245.post-2980067465692260322011-09-16T12:13:00.000-07:002011-09-17T22:58:41.013-07:00g.n.o.<div style="text-align: center;">Awesome g.n.o. (girls night out) I just love good quality, fun girl time.<br /><br />I felt bubbly and revived afterwards. Girlfriends can do that to you.<br />We talked about kids, food, cleaning, movies, and being moms.<br />wow! Am I really in this stage?!<br />Who knew one upping each other with stories could be so fun!<br /><br />I caught myself fake laughing in the bathroom mirror when I got home. hahaha!<br />I gotta see what I looked like right?! Make sure I wasn't making a fool of myself.<br />You know you've done it.<br /><br />My in-laws suggested I have a g.n.o. every night because of my hyper happiness. But I think the energy came from my excitement for the peach ice cream I was making and mentalist I had taped. Turned out my ice cream was a smoothie and my show was old. darn! I came down from that cloud real fast. (name that movie!)<br /><br />Can't wait for my next g.n.o.<br />Wanna join me? We can practice laughing on the way.<br /></div>Taylor @ Drinking From Jarshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07535667677430184647noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7504507416461045245.post-78079660980186618762011-09-15T12:01:00.000-07:002011-09-15T12:29:49.454-07:00Tomato Basil Spinach Soup<div style="text-align: center;">With all the tomatoes I have been harvesting I decided to make some yummy tomato basil spinach soup.
